I am pleased to announce that Nintai Brokerage Corporation will be the first virtual company within Second Life to attempt crowdsource funding! The funding will allow us to increase our assets, provide more services for customers, and increase profits for our clients all without diluting existing shares for NBC. October 13, 2012 – Nintai Brokerage Corporation, a virtual company which operates within the world of Second Life has become the first company within the virtual grid to attempt to raise money for their business with crowd-funding outside of the game. The company operates on a virtual stock simulation game called the Capital Exchange (www.Slcapex.com) which allows users to learn how to play to stock market and see how it affects the in-game economy, while also earning Lindens (Second Life dollars) while doing so.
Nintai Brokerage Corporation’s campaign for the fundraising can be found here: http://www.indiegogo.com/nintai?a=161023. All funds go towards allowing the virtual business to continue to operate in educating new users how to play the stock market, how it affects the economy, and how various stock market mechanisms such as short selling, limit buys, and more work.
CEO of the virtual company, Cecil Niosaki, said, “I think it’s incredibly important that we continue to operate on the Second Life grid so that we can teach people how the stock market works. I believe that an education in finance is necessary, and oftentimes players take what they learn on the Capital Exchange onto the real stock market.”

Please be aware that there will be a shareholder's meeting held at the Nintai Brokerage Corporation office (located within the Capital Exchange Headquarters) on October 13th, 2012 at Noon UTC -6 (http://www.timeanddate.com/library/abbreviations/timezones/na/cst.html). Noon UTC-6 is equivalent to 10AM Second Life Time.
The meeting will discuss current affairs of the company, a summary of the events of the past months, and the actions the company will take moving forward.
